This is the story of the swap squares that wanted to be in a quilt. They were all 6" squares and had been shouting loudly from the box for several weeks. If it was because they were the ones that could be heard or liked the mostly, who knows, but the yellow and the blue squares were cut and sewn many times until they could happily smile and nod to each other from their new place up on the wall.

You will need 6" squares for this quilt, from a swap or from your stash. No square is to be like.

• 12 mediums blue
• 4 yellow
• 4 dark orange-yellow
• Batting and a piece for the back
• Fabric for the binding
