Mystery quilt for Advent and
December 2002
This
Christmas Mystery is made with my favourite colors this time
of year: blue, lilac and violett. If you would like to use
other colors, pay attention to the darks, lights and the
mediums as the colors and the values makes the overall
design look good.
Using
6" charms solves this mystery best. If
you do not have charms suitable for this mystery, you will
need to get 7'' of fabric, each of 6 blue, 2 light blue, 2
yellow and 2 dark yellow, or choose to use some lager pieces
in your stash. If you like, you may cut the pieces from
scraps and other pieces of fabrics.
A
clue: This mystery, when it's solved, could make a nice
centrepiece on your table. Choose your colors and fabric
thereafter.

How
to cut the charms:
Keep
the pieces from each other and in order by using envelopes
marked with the letter and the number of each step. As the
pieces are cut for one step, put all of them in the envelope
marked with the same letter and number.
